To better reflect how American Express Ascent & Choices membership rewards can be burned both logically and economically, Travelscene/American Express has re branded it's reward system as simply: Membership Rewards® After all, that's exactly what they are.

The move comes with an assurance that points will remain at the conversion rate of 10,000=$A100 meaning the system is on par with most airline redemption conversion rates however as an added bonus to cardholders, Ascent or Choices rewards points allows you to make purchases on flights (no FF block outs), accommodation, car hire and just about any travel related product available. This includes fees/taxes and the likes and even transfers & tours!
