1. Business development Manager (CRM)

A position for the top-flight travel applicant. Involves sourcing and presenting to new business while servicing existing clientele with relationship management solutions.


  • Sound knowledge of global travel trends
  • F&T I and II - BSP
  • Minimum of two years consulting experience
  • GDS/CRS experience (Sabre preferred)
  • Mid/Back Office systems use (pref. Tramada)
  • Data Basing experience - Act! or similar

2. Domestic Travel consultant - Corporate

An exciting position for the applicant who wants to accelerate both earning and learning potentials. Employment description includes domestic travel planning for corporate clientele, accommodation and car hire. The positions suits those best, keen to break into the corporate international travel arena.


  • At least 12 months experience in a travel agency situation
  • F&T I and II
  • GDS/CRS experience
  • Above average computer skills

3. International Travel Consultant - Corporate

An excellent opportunity exists for a candidate with the necessary qualifications. As an International Travel Account Manager, you'll be responsible for providing Corporate customers with a seamless and exclusive business travel solution. You will need to be able to work unsupervised and have advanced level experience in fares decision making processes.


  • 3-4 years agency experience
  • An ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of international fares and travel planning.
  • F&T I and II - extensive knowledge of 'mileage', sector and 'aligned' air travel sales and policies
  • GDS/CRS experience (Sabre preferred)
  • Tramada experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of car hire, accommodation, foreign currency issue

4. Cruising Specialist - Leisure

Cruising is the world's fastest growing sector of the travel industry and due to recent and enormous expansions, we are looking to compliment our team with a vibrant cruise travel consultant. The bulk of enquiries from the internet or by phone, from radio advertising. There's little face to face contact so the applicant should possess excellent written and telephone skills.

This position creates a great opportunity for someone wanting to come from a small agency, and be exposed to a vast and interesting client network in a friendly team agency environment.


  • 2 years agency experience, or
  • 1 solid year in a specialist cruise office, or
  • 3 years in a wholesale travel role
  • F&T I and II (or equivalent experience)
  • Good knowledge of the cruising industry, or a strong desire to learn.
  • GDS/CRS experience
  • Good understanding of geographic regions; destinations etc
  • Excellent communications skills

5. NEW - Home-based cruise professionals (perm/part time)

We are currently considering applications for the position of Cruise Consultant - home based. The situation/s may suit semi retired, stay at home mums or Uni students looking for permanent part time employment where hours can be juggled around commitments. It is envisaged positions may become available from Jan/Feb 2011.

6. Trainee/Cadet (4 year indenture scheme)

We are currently considering providing a person with the opportunity to participate in a travel traineeship, learning ALL facets of the industry over a 4 year period.

On completion, the candidate will be recognised as a Senior Travel Coordinator/Agency or Business Manager. Modules include:

  • Personal & Telecommunication skills
  • Housekeeping & OH&S
  • Stock Management
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Computerised Res System operation - Beginner to Advanced
  • Back office systems and data basing
  • IATA F&T 1 and 2 / BSP
  • Corporate & Leisure Travel/Cruising
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Internet Relationship Marketing
  • Product knowledge & destination marketing
  • Franchising/affiliation & Customer Loyalty programming
  • Business Development
  • Customer /Relationship/Value Management
  • Agency/office management

  • PABX or similar, experience

The tenure is supported both on and off-site; some during irregular hours (eg. evenings) where the trainee is responsible to attend when requested and by the use of their own transport arrangements.

This an excellent opportunity for someone toying with the idea of obtaining TAFE qualifications with the long term ambition of joining a travel agency.
