QF luggage revamp

Qantas has rolled out new regulations for luggage weights to come into effect for passengers travelling after 01 March 2009

Effective on immediate ticket sales, the revamp has seen a reduction in weight allowances from 32kg to 23kg. On long-haul flights to the US, the change is even more significant meaning the two pieces allowance is now 23kg each. If there is an upside, QF has uniformed it's INTL and DOM luggage weight allowance and domestic flights now allow the same 23kg, up from 20kg.
