Emergency Procedures  

Firstly, please check our Travel Tools & Links and Traveler's Guide pages where you may find the answer to many queries for example 'How do I contact The Australian Consulate in another country?

Calculate Australian Eastern Time and determine where best your call should be lodged to us. Naturally, we have better ability to take care of your emergency with special resources available at our North Ryde office.

Have all your documentation at hand (tickets, passport/visas, itinerary & all other travel documents), particularly those relating to an emergency.

Third party staff (eg. airline staff etc) should also be available to speak to us if it becomes necessary.

Then, go to 'Contacts' in the menu and select any one or more options of making contact with us.

You may also wish to reconfirm contact details with us, for someone at home should we be required to contact them in a case (for example), that you've missed your flight home etc.
