Qantas A380
DONNA MEADS-BARLOW TRIES QANTAS A380 ON FOR SIZE!
Donna recently took the QF A380 for a test run. No, not from the pilot's seat, but she pretty well sat in every other seat on the plane during it's test flight to Auckland and back.
Donna, along with co QF Platinum Agency Member Principles, officials and other dignitaries were divided around the cabin (I should say cabins) and given the flight experience "of all flight experiences"
"I sat in Business Class - upper deck, it was fantastic. The first thing that came to mind 'was there goes the old saying, best seats are up front' ! The size of the cabin is truly amazing" Donna explained.
She talked about making house calls to her colleagues in First Class "And it was like walking into someone's domain [home]. It was superb, spacious and hard to believe that so many considerations have been made to provide passengers with a very different feel while they're flying. It is simply unbelievable.
When asked which seat provided best comfort and best value for money, Donna's reply was "First Class of course! But I have to say, you won't find better comfort on a whole deck than Business Class on upper. It's roomy, not confined to a smallish area and has an air about it that gives an impression of a 'world in the sky'.
"I loved Premium Economy. [It] has all the comfort and extra benefits anyone would want in an Economy seat. And it certainly doesn't make the usual Economy seats look inferior either. It's excellent value for money for anyone looking for something in between.
"The Qantas A380 really does have a seat to suit everyone and everyone. And it's all good!
